A shared creative process from the start

There are many ways to produce a film. For us what makes a project successful is when each stage of production flows from the ways a community uniquely defines itself.

That means thinking about more than what a film might look like

We begin by meeting with you online or in person. We want to find out how you work and explore what kind of collaboration could be most impactive and enjoyable for everyone involved.

If you want to go a step further, we work creatively to develop a proposal that lays out possible next steps. This is a conceptual framework and identifies principles that can guide the project. This proposal will often include assets or events that might be developed and references from music, art, film, gaming, tv; pretty much anything that’s helpful to develop a shared language for storytelling.

If you then want to move into production, we will work with you to agree a brief, a (usually small) team, a budget and a schedule for delivery. This schedule often includes interim screenings, feedback sessions and iterative work
